This is a nice cooking game with Tessa! Today Tessa's going to prepare a Christmas turkey with a cranberry sauce. Will you join her? In this cooking game you learn exactly how to prepare this dish. You need the following ingredients: For the stuffing: - 6 slices of old white bread, without crust - 2 sausages - 1 small onion, shredded - 2 stems of blanched celery, cut into small dice - 1 apple, peeled and cut into small dice - 1 egg - 20 g chopped sage leaves To fry: - 1 turkey - 100 g butter - 2 tbs oil - freshly ground black pepper For the cranberry sauce: - 340 g fresh cranberries - 200 g sugar - 150 ml water - shredded rind of 1 orange - salt. You use these ingredients in the following way: Stuffing: - Grind the bread in the food processor - Remove the sausage skins - Crumble them into the pan and fry them - Add the onion, blanched celery and apple - Let it cool down - Add the sage to the minced meat - Add the egg and the breadcrumbs and knead it into a solid mass Stuffing & Baking: - Pat dry the turkey with kitchen paper - Put the stuffing into the turkey - Fold the skin around the hole and fasten it with a cocktail pick - Mix salt and pepper and rub it into the turkey - Preheat the oven at 200 °C - Melt the butter and add the oil; mix it well - Pour 2/3 of this mix into the roasting tin - Put the turkey into the tin, brisket fat side down - Pour the rest of the butter-oil mixture over the turkey - Loosely cover the roasting tin with aluminum foil - Put the roasting tin in the preheated oven - After one hour, lower the oven temperature to 175°C (347°F) - After another hour, remove the aluminum foil and turn the turkey on its back - After half an hour, the turkey's ready Cranberry sauce: - Put the cranberries into a pan with the sugar and the shredded orange rind - Let it cook for 10 minutes on a medium fire - Season with salt - Let it cool down Enjoy your meal!
