If you did not get your test results, it's because of one of three reasons:

The confirmation email we sent you is in your spam basket. To fix this problem, go to your spam basket and respond to the email. To make sure you have no future problems, add
customercare@mary.com to your email directory.

You did not respond to the confirmation email we sent you. You can either find that email again, respond to it or if it's been deleted, go to Mary.com, log in, and go to MY MAIL. There you will find the email we sent you which has a link to resend it to yourself.

The 3rd possibility is you gave us the wrong email address when you registered. To fix this problem, go to Mary.com, login, click on HOME and My Profile, where you can change your email address.

You may make any changes, including your email address and password, by changing the text or selecting from the drop-down boxes provided. How do I change the age listed on my profile? |
| Click on the Edit Profile link, and choose the correct month, day and year. (That's the correct date of birth, not the date of birth you'd like to have...)

How do I upload my picture? |
To upload your .jpg file, go to MY ACCOUNT and click on Edit My Profile and Edit Photos. Select the Browse button to search your hard drive for the picture you wish to post. Once you've located the photo, select Open. Finally, press Upload. You will immediately see your image uploaded to your profile. You will also be able to delete the image(s) if you choose. Once you return to your profile you will see your image displayed. Once your picture has been saved to your profile, it needs to be approved by our site moderators. This usually occurs within 72 hours of the initial upload. The main picture in your profile needs to be solely of you and preferably a head shot. We reject the following types of pictures: - Nude pictures - Copyrighted pictures
- Pictures with contact information
- Pictures that are in poor taste, racially prejudiced, pornographic in any way, unintentionally blurry, etc.
- Pictures that display inappropriate language

| To search for members, go to simple search, click on the country you desire to make a search, click on the closest town, and find members based on using that town as a starting point. |

How do I see the results to a test? |
To see the results to a test you took, log in to your account click on MY HOME and MY TEST RESULTS.
Here you will see a full page of tests and results. If you took a test, you will see a green check mark and text to the right of the test name that says "view results". Click on that and you will get your results.

How do I compare your my test results with someone else? |
To check compatibility on the BIG FIVE or any other test, take the test and then compare it to other members online who have already taken the test.
On the profile page of every member, there's a Ying-Yang symbol just below their main picture and text that says: Your Compatibility With (other member's screen name). Click on that icon and you will be taken to the Soul Mate Finder page.
On that page, you will find all the tests that compare all members. You can then click on the results to any test to see how you compare.
If you want to compare your results with a friend, you need to have them post a profile on Mary.com and follow the same instructions. Find your friend's profile using simple search and keying in their screen name in the appropriate box within "simple search".

To get primary approval on a picture that has been approved as a secondary picture, log in to your account. Click on Edit my profile click on "edit photos", and find the picture you want to send to customer service for primary approval. Below the picture, you'll find an envelope icon. Click on that envelope and it sends it to customer service for approval.
The rules for primary approval are:
-It has to be a picture of you.
-The face must be visible
-The picture must be a close up
-The picture cannot be blurry or distorted

What is a primary picture? |
Primary pictures are picture that we permit to be used as your main picture on your profile. They have to include you in the picture. You cannot use pictures of known people that could be copyrighted. Pictures of objects, sceneries, and indistinguishable people are not permitted.
Also, if the account belongs to a woman, the primary picture needs to be a woman. She may be with a partner if she chooses. However, the primary picture cannot be of children. If the account belongs to a man, the same rules apply. |

I can't login from the home page, why? |
The reason you could not find a login section on the home page of Mary.com was because your cookies were not enabled, or you deleted your cookies, or your Internet security settings do not allow sites to put cookies on your computer.
To solve this problem, you must enable cookies, or if you prefer not to do that, you can click on any tab in the home page's navigation menu and on the secondary pages of the site you will find login boxes.

Is it possible you used another email address or made a mistake and left us an incorrect email address? Note also that we reject dozens of profiles every day for many reasons such as:
--not enough content to create a profile
--inappropriate content
--no content value for our members

I don't have a photo to upload from my computer. Can I send you a photo? |
| Please do not send us a photo by mail. Instead, go to your favorite photo store with 10 of your best pictures (this will allow you to show others more about your life in pictures). They will scan those pictures and put them on a CD/DVD disk for you which you can then upload to us with your computer. Note that many retailers like Walmart now have self service photo scanning of pictures and it is very inexpensive. This allows you to scan all your old photos and put them on your computer so you can share them with your friends.

| Do not include your name, phone number or address. Include your likes, your dislikes, aspirations, and the type of person you'd like to meet. You can also put smilies in your messages and headline. On a final note, don't enter your email address below, because spammers on the Internet will find your email address and send you spam.

- Email addresses, website addresses, or phone numbers were included in your profile.

- Indecent content, nude images, or harassment of other users.
- We immediately delete escorts, scammers, spammers, anyone trying to sell something on Mary.com, and anyone trying to direct members to other websites.
- You may have deactivated your account or asked us to delete it; please email customer care for reactivation.

Spammers & Scammers: How Do I Know If Someone Is A Scammer? |
| Mary.com works hard to make sure scammers are deleted from the database. If anyone asks for money, it is likely a scam. The common approach is to ask someone for money to help a relative get medical care, buy an airline ticket to visit you, receive the money, and then disappear. More elaborate schemes involve using your social security number, address, telephone number, to access your bank account, withdraw money, and disappear. Don't be fooled by such scams, and be sure to do an official legitimacy check on any person before you send money.

Missing Messages |
- If you see a blank user name in your account that means the user has deleted their account.
- If the user has completely vanished along with all messages that means they were deleted by the system.
- You may only contact 20 new people per day.
- The message may be over 60 days old, therefore our system may have removed it.

Deleted Profiles |
If you asked us to delete your profile, it is gone for good. We cannot restore your profile. If your account was deleted and you have been banished by the computer that means you broke some rules. The most common reasons for being deleted are:
- Like every other major site we block users from certain countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, etc.
- You must be 16+.
- You uploaded nude/bad images.
- A lot of users reported that you were abusive.
- You solicited other members or sent spam.
- You had more than 1 profile on the site.
- You didn't complete the sign up process and our system removed your profile.

How to interpret test scores: |
All scores are rated from zero to one hundred (0-100). The score is based on all the results to the same test made by people of your age and gender.

For example, if you scored a 60 on a test about adventurousness, what this means is that you are in the 60th percentile of every one who took this test in your age/gender group. In other words, you scored higher than 60% of the people who took this test. This also means that 40% scored higher than you.
An average score is around 30-70. Below 30 means your level of that characteristic relative to other people is low. Above 70 means your level is high.
If a high level of XYZ is required to make a relationship work, it's obviously better that you score high on XYZ. However, although the conventional wisdom says that high XYZ is preferable to make a relationship work, and you scored low, it does not mean you cannot find a good relationship. There are people who prefer low intimacy or even low passion just like there are others who prefer low extroversion or low agreeableness!
In relationships, it's important to find someone who thinks like you. A low score on any test does not necessarily mean "bad". It just means that you probably will have problems with someone who scores "high" on that same facet.
